The Mountains Bow Down

‘The Mountains Bow Down’ is the first book by Sibella Giorello that I have come across and after reading it I am surely going to catch up with the other two- ‘The Rivers Run Dry’ and ‘The Clouds Roll Away’. What a plot! Ne of the best settings for a murder mystery is a cruise ship and the way Giorello moves the plot along, you really aren't sure who the real killer is until the end. The plot gives nothing away while maintaining a steady flow.

Apart from being a murder mystery another thing that this books stands out for is the vivid and often detailed description of Alaska. Sibella Giorello’s talent for description has been displayed throughout. I have never been to Alaska but after reading ‘The Mountains Bow Down’ my interest in Alaska has increased tenfold.

This is an excellent book and anyone will enjoy it. I give it a 4 out of 5.
